Our Clients' Well Being is First! PDF Print E-mail
Like any good physician, we first diagnose before we prescribe.  Accountability is a symptom, not the root problem, therein lays the first learning.  Accountability is endemic to most corporate cultures because the root of its growth begins with the culture itself.  There are three aspects of culture we need to examine; organizational behavior, organizational language and the individuals influence in creating a high accountability culture.

My Organization's Language

- We use very specific deadlines when discussing upcoming work
- We are clear about what outcomes we are working to create
- Roles and responsibilities are clearly defined when we assign tasks

My Organization's Behavior
- Our employees deliver projects exactly as they had been requested (deliverable)
- Our team delivers "on time, every time" in the eyes of our internal and external customers
- Our employees take responsibility for their own outcomes and performance

My Influence in Creating a High Accountability Culture
- I give constructive input to my teammates in an emotionally intelligent way, even if it may be tough for them to hear
- I receive "first hand" constructive input from my teammates when I have failed to meet their expectations
- I participate in meetings and other interactions where I may influence the mood and commitment of other people

Organizational language and expected behavior will drive accountability, especially when it’s tied to performance.  When the concept of consequences is ingrained into a culture, the likelihood of meeting expectations is significantly increased.

Talent Blueprint will help you make the changes necessary to your culture’s well being to ensure that your employees and leaders behaviors are aligned with your business goal.
